Bed was great but breakfast was poor.
No sitting area for guests.
good local area.
Smells from other people cooking traveled to all the rooms.
Staff behavior was good but they must hire few more people. Most of the time there was no one at the desk to attend and one has to wait.
There was a lot of smell in the room as well as corridors. Seems it was a smoking room which was closed for a long time. Requested to change the room but they said no other room is available. Breakfast was included in the room fare but it was as good as nothing.
Room was clean, bed comfortable. Hotel relatively quiet.
I was surprised to find that the kitchenette had no dishes, glasses, cups, utensils, cooking pots etc. I had purchased food to have during my stay. So that I did not have to eat in restaurants. While the coffee in the lobby was good a coffee pot in the room would have been better. Provide at a minimum a couple of plates, glasses, utensils etc. Also coffee in the room would have been preferred. Guests sitting on the floor in the hallway.
It was the worst choice perhaps. We were given smoking rooms on the pretext that we asked for them. I don't think there was any such choice at the time of booking. The policy not cleaning the room for short stay(< 7 days) is worst. The cleaning should happen every day, Towels may be changed on request. For name sake they include breakfast(only muffins and coffee which also vanishes quickly)
Though I lack first hand experience, the facility and staff is how I imagine a minimum security prison. The facility was dirty, dingy and run down; the staff was cold, impersonable and maintained a distrust for their clients. Ordinary amenities were available only upon request, if at all. For example, none -- repeat, none -- of the basic kitchen supplies were supplied. Only upon asking - not at check-in -- were we told, "You've got to ask for them. Here's a list, whaddya want? We keep stuff out in the back room." A few minutes later, we were presented with a container to self-carry the dishes, utensils and toaster back to the room. Fresh (paper thin) towels? Bring your used linens to the front desk for a trade in. "Oh, you want a bath mat, too? You didn't say so!". Weekend bonus -- a howling 75 lb. dog, third world aromas and burning incense. At check out, a polite response for a receipt earned the response, "You booked on line; you should have already got one." Oh, and try calling ahead (at 7pm) to alert of late arrival. No answer; no recoding.
Eggs??? I think they would charge $1000 for this room for providing eggs in the breakfast. All that they provided is - coffie, Quaker Oatmeal packs, a couple of apples. My booking was for a "Non-Smoking", Two Queen Bed Room. But, we were given a stinking Smoking Room. When protested, the advise from the lady at the desk on night duty (Angela) was to take it or leave the hotel. It was around mid night so no other option but to accept. When I said you are not helping Angela says don't book a room ever and she is not bothered if we do business with the hotel or not. She was very rude. She says, the hotel is not responsible for bookings made via a 3rd party like "Booked.net". They don't have to honor 3rd party bookings. There were a lot of bugs in the room and water was coming out into the room from the bath tub. Note: Note: The lady who came on duty in the morning was polite & ok to dela with. However, she couldn't help much though.
Better pillows, better breakfast items.
It was ok on the hotel
I enjoyed the spacious room, the fact the hotel was quiet and clean all around inside.
The room was freezing when we walked in and never really got as warm as we would have liked. Only one eye on the stove worked which made it longer when cooking.
the bed was very comfortable and pillows. room was very clean
We had to go to get tour own toilet paper. the hall way lobby floors were dirty both days. Calling it free breakfast is insulting. almost all was gone by 8:00 except for the apples. I have never written a negative review before
staff was very friendly
room was not clean, bathroom had moldy areas, no room service,
Kitchen had NOTHING supplied-every item had to be requested at the semi-manned front desk. A real inconvenience for a late arrival, not expecting this. I needed a fork to eat dinner. No coffee maker available for my room.
full kitchen was great
grab and go breakfast there wasnt enough !!!!
We reserved a non-smoking room and received a smelly smoking room. Staff said they could not change it because it was booked through Booked.net and only boooking.com can change it. Had to sleep with windows open, heard all traffic and noise. Second night hotel staff banged on our door wondering if candle in window was ours, it was not. Couldn't sleep after that with 10 hours travel next day. We were told the manager "might" give a refund, haven't heard a word yet.
